2024 powerchair features

The new 2024 design showcases a simple more affordable power wheelchair. Without compromising the hand-crafted frames, these new base models make Bailey Built Wheelchairs a more accessible option than our previous builds. Check out the features below!

QUICK RELEASE WHEELS

All main wheels are quick release. The joystick controller and battery can also be easily removed.

POWER

All of our models use the same 350-watt electric motors. An electromagnetic brake is built into the hub. They also have a release lever to be pushed manually.

BLUETOOTH FEATURES

Every joystick is blue tooth enabled. A free downloadable app allows the user to connect their device to the wheelchair. It gives detailed information and estimated ranges. The joystick input can be adjusted for better control and you can even drive the chair from your device!

MODULAR BATTERY

One of our newest features is the modular battery pack. This 24-volt 20-amp hour battery is now more versatile. The sturdy attachment allows for quick removal and the option to have more than one battery pack on hand.

Also available is a smaller battery pack that is within FAA and IATA limitations for carrying into the passenger cabin of the aircraft.

QUICK ADJUSTMENT

The joystick mount can be secured on the left or right side. The pull pin allows the joystick to go up and down in one-inch increments for that perfect fit and occasional need to go under a table.

FINE TUNE FOOT HEIGHT

The foot bar can be adjusted up or down several inches. The foot plate frame is fully welded, and every foot plate is 6” deep. This allows for common front wheel attachments to be used if needed.
